Meet Dr. Lee

Dr. David Lee is a board-certified pediatric dentist who is passionate about helping children build healthy smiles and developing positive attitudes toward dental visits that last a lifetime.  Originally from South Korea and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Dr. Lee brings a caring, down-to-earth approach to every appointment.

Dr. Lee earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University before receiving his Dental degree from the University of Michigan.  He then completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in hospital dentistry and managing dental emergencies.  Pursuing his love for working with children, Dr. Lee went on to complete a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at UTHealth Houston, where he trained extensively in trauma care and in treating children with special needs.

During his training, Dr. Lee discovered how rewarding it is to help children feel comfortable and confident about their dental health.  He believes in creating a calm, fun and encouraging environment where every child can have a positive experience and develop healthy habits for life.

When not in the office, you can find Dr. Lee watching or playing basketball, exploring new foods and spending time with his wife, daughter and their puppy, Namoo.  Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Lee is dedicated to making every visit comfortable, fun and welcoming for every child he sees and their family.
